Retail LevelMatePRO Troubleshooting
2. Ensure that you have a fresh battery installed in the LevelMatePRO and that the battery is installed properly. Note that the side of the battery with the ‘+’ on it should be facing up after the battery is installed. With the battery installed, switch the unit on and confirm that you hear a double beep. Launch the app again to see if a connection can be made.
3. If no connection is made, delete the LevelMatePRO app from all of your smartphones and/or tablets.
4. Power down your smartphones and/or tablets and then power them back up.
5. Download and install the LevelMatePRO app to all of your smartphones and/or tablets.
6. Switch the LevelMatePRO off and then on again.
7. Start the app on one of your smartphones or tablets. The LevelMatePRO should automatically link to your phone or tablet and a connection should be made.

1. If Gen 2, switch the On/Off switch to the Off position and then back to the On position.
2. Create motion in the vehicle by driving it or by raising or lowering the jack.
3. Remove the LevelMatePRO cover and uninstall then reinstall the battery.
4. Pass a magnet over the cover of the LevelMatePRO.
1. The LevelMatePRO must be installed on a hard surface. If attached to carpet or insulation, for example, the unit will move too much and won’t operate properly.
2. The LevelMatePRO must be firmly attached to the mounting surface with screws. If attached using Velcro or double-sided tape, the unit will move too much and won’t operate properly.
3. The LevelMatePRO must not be installed near your power inverter, circuit breaker, or batteries.
Another reason you may see inconsistent readings is that your initial level position data did not get saved correctly. To ensure that this information is correctly stored on the unit, repeat the process of leveling your vehicle, then press the Set Level button in the app.
If your installation location is correct and you have resaved your Set Level data, but you are still getting inconsistent readings, please email us at support@levelmate.co.nz
OEM LevelMatePRO Troubleshooting
1. Ensure that 12v DC power is currently supplied to the RV. If your vehicle has been sitting for an extended period of time, your 12 volt batteries may need to be recharged.
2. Ensure that you don’t have the app running on another phone or tablet. As is the case with all Bluetooth devices, the LevelMatePRO can only be connected to one tablet or phone at a time.
3. Launch the app again to see if a connection can be made.
4. If no connection is made, delete the LevelMatePRO app from all of your smartphones and/or tablets.
5. Power down your smartphones and/or tablets and then power them back up.
6. Download and install the LevelMatePRO app to all of your smartphones and/or tablets.
7. Because you reinstalled the app, you will need to relink the LevelMatePRO with your phone or tablet. Put the LevelMatePRO in “learn” mode by pressing and holding the button on the front of the LevelMatePRO until you hear a long beep (approximately 3 seconds).
8. Start the app on one of your smartphones or tablets. The LevelMatePRO should automatically link to your phone or tablet and a connection should be made.
If no connection is made, please email us at support@levelmate.co.nz
NOTE: You will have 10 minutes from the time you put the LevelMatePRO in “learn” mode to allow new smartphones or tablets to “learn” your LevelMatePRO. If this time expires, you can restart the 10 minute “learn” window using the same method described above to put the LevelMatePRO in “learn” mode.
If you have resaved your Set Level data, but you are still getting inconsistent readings, please email us at support@levelmate.co.nz
